Canyon Waterfall
Moisture flowing into the Pacific Northwest from off the Pacific Ocean eight months a year creates areas of lush temperate forests. As the heavy rainfall forms streams and rushes back to the sea, it cuts canyons and valleys deep into the land. Trails along these streams provide hikers with fantastic views.
Water dropping over this particular precipice falls 106 feet before becoming a flowing stream again. The highest waterfall on this trail tumbles 178 feet to the canyon’s bottom. Here, every season, indeed every day, has its own beauty. In the Fall nature brings out its colorful finery to drape it’s canyon.
