It’s gorgeous! An exquisite indulgence for our senses. When I watch a sunset my whole being seems to let out a deep breath and relax.

But is there “something” about sunsets that draws us in for another reason? For myself, yes. It’s a moment of context. It’s bearing witness to the perpetual celestial ballet of sun, moon, and earth. You can almost see yourself standing on a great spinning ball that is traveling through space while orbiting a giant sustained nuclear fireball.

That’s what is real. And it is awe inspiring!
