People from all around visit the Oregon coastline to experience sunsets like this one. I took this photograph while visiting with a half-dozen people sitting at picnic tables overlooking the ocean. They are from the neighborhood and jokingly refer to themselves as the Sunset Club. This group apparently has an ever-changing membership around a core few. When the weather is good, or even reasonably tolerable, they gather around the tables to watch today’s sunset. Then, like the sun, they bid each other farewell until tomorrow.
